HISTORY
The Paaralang Sekundarya ng Heneral Nakar started as Batangan Barangay High School Annex in the school year 1991-1992 established through the help of local government under the administration of Municipal Mayor Calixto Ruidera through the initiative of District Supervisor Legoria M. Combalicer. Most of the pioneer students were out-of-school youth Mr. Ramon M. Abracia was the first designated teacher who came from Gumaca, Quezon On July 28, 1993 the government permit #050 S 1995 was finally given to the school under its registered name, PAARALANG SEKUNDARYA NG HENERAL NAKAR as an existing independent public secondary school at the proper town of General Nakar Dr. Belen Magsino, the Quezon Schools Division Superintendent assigned and advised Mrs. Matilde B. Pujalte as Teacher-In-Charge on November 19, 1993 The school grow rapidly and developed. The Local Government under the administration of Municipal Mayor Hernando P. Avellaneda. Sr. perpetually extends its support and assistance when the two (2) extensions namely PSHN Maligaya and PSHN Umiray were established.
Mrs. Matilde B. Pujalue become full pledge Ripal on March 7, 2005 after a decade of its establishment and serves until May 2011 On June 2011, Mrs. Luzviminda S. Peñamoro become the new principal of the school and serves until May 2014 June 2014, the administration managed by the new principal -Mr. Felix M. Alegre that lasted for more than 5 years.
On January 31, 2022 the newly designated Principal IV-Mr. Gregorio I. Racelis came to PSHN. He became known for his unique greeting of “Namaste” and has tremendous achievements such as consistent Best Brigada Implementer, a Gawad Binhi Awardee, and many more to mention. He transform the PSHN to Pinagpalang Paaralan and introduced the local enabling values of the school.
